This Particular Carrera 6 is the most successful as well as correct and original of the three that were delivered new to Mitsuwa, the official Importer and Distributor for Porsche in Japan. It had been ordered and sold new to Shintaro Taki, the owner of a prominent clothing factory and team manager as well as lead racer of Taki Motors Ltd. and their racing devision, Taki Racing. Taki won almost every race entered from 1966 to 1967 before he switched to a newer 910. All of the races entered were in Japan or Hong Kong/Macao making it one of the very few Porsches to ever race in China! By 1970, the car still in Taki-team livery remained painted white but was then sold to the well-known British journalist Peter Bellamy who raced it competitively to the end of 1973 with all races in Japan.

Originally painted white, 906-120 stood out prominently in Taki-Team colors before later being painted red. In the care of Bellamy it was painted British Racing Green and is remembered fondly as such by many die-hard Japanese Porsche racing enthusiast even to this day.

Today sees 906,120 as good or even better than in the condition in which it left the factory in 1966. Following a comprehensive restoration by the Porsche Factory that saw the original engine and gearbox being fitted back to the car.
